Kate Reese is a Founder and Legal Practitioner Director of Finance Law.

Kate works exclusively with private lenders, non-bank lenders, credit managers and investor groups, advising on lending transactions, mortgage documentation and security arrangements across a broad range of asset classes and transaction structures.

With more than 12 years' experience in mortgage and lending law, Kate has extensive experience managing lending transactions from instruction through to settlement. Her experience spans both front-end lending and dispute resolution, providing a practical understanding of how lending transactions perform when tested and how risk should be managed from the outset.

Kate leads the delivery of lender-side legal work across the business and is responsible for legal operations, transaction execution, precedent development and maintaining the quality and consistency of the firm's legal services.

She works closely with lenders, brokers and counterparties to ensure transactions are progressed efficiently, documentation remains commercially aligned and settlements are completed with certainty.

Known for her disciplined and practical approach, Kate focuses on delivering clear, enforceable documentation and helping clients achieve efficient and reliable transaction outcomes.
